Week 15 Curation

My 3 favorite discoveries this week:

  1. Canva.com
    • This site allows you to easily create design projects like cards, invitations, social media posts, and so much more. It is super user-friendly and also has some great tutorials to make it even easier.
  2. This website on Growth Mindset
    • Growth mindset is a mindset that allows people to view themselves as capable of developing their abilities. They are capable of more through hard work and dedication.
  3. Limayre's Dante story from Week 14
    • Limayre did a really great job of telling Dante's story from his perspective. It was almost like a diary of this journey through hell. I really enjoyed her version of retelling the story.

I created this image using Canva this week.

Week 1: Curation

I use the bookmark feature on my MacBook religiously. Its how I keep track of all the important websites and information I need for school. I recently used Interest in one of my classes to curate ideas. At first, I thought the same as Laura that Interest was just for shopping and food. But, then we used it to look up ideas for our class projects and saved the good ideas we liked. It was really helpful in finding resources and getting the creative process started. I also curate by using Twitter and favorite posts I have read and liked or want to read later. Cosmopolitan twitter always posts good articles about entering the work force that I favorite to read later.

about finding a new job.
