Reading Diary A: Myths of the Cherokees

He conjurers put the sun another hand-breadth higher in the air, but it was still too hot. They raised it another time, and another, until it was seven handbreadths high and just under the sky arch. I love all the good quotes and decription in these stories. I think its interesting to read stories from the Cherokees point of view.

  1. Hi Averey, the idea is to use the Reading Diary post as a place to record those good quotes and make notes about the stories that contain especially good descriptions so that you will have those materials ready at hand when you go to write your own story. Make sure you record more information in the post (specific stories you liked, for example); otherwise, you are not going to have what you need to write the storytelling post later this week.
